How to buy and start a course ?

The first step is to download the Hunty application from your App store or Google Play Store.
Then create your account using the method of your choice (Google, Apple, Email).

You'll then have access to all our tours. We hope you'll find one that suits you! Don't hesitate to come back often to find out what's new!

How do I start a free tour?

To start a free tour, select the tour of your choice and click on the “Start” button on the product page.
Then head for the indicated starting point to access the first step.
You must be within 50 meters of the starting point to begin the tour.

How do I buy a tour on the Hunty app?

To buy a tour, choose the one you want.
If you're paying for it, you'll see a "Buy" button on the product page.
When you click, you will be redirected to a payment pop-up with Apple Pay if you have an iPhone or Google Pay if you have an Android.

Once the payment has been made, you can start the tour by clicking on the "Start" button that appears in the product sheet for your tour.

Purchased tours are also available in the "Purchased" tab on the My Trails page.

How do I start a tour purchased on the Hunty app?

To start a tour, select the one of your choice and click on “Start”. Then head for the indicated starting point to access the first stage.
You'll need to be within 50 meters of the starting point to begin the course.

How do I start a tour purchased from a partner (Viator, GetYourGuide....)?

Have you bought a tour from one of our partners? Great idea!
The first thing to do is download our app from your phone's app store, then create an account.
Then go to "My trails", then in the tab "Purchased", and click on the button "Enter a partner code".
Then enter the confirmation code you received from our partner and validate it.

How to play?

Do I need an Internet connection to play?

Yes, you absolutely need an Internet connection to complete a tour!

Do I need geolocation to play?

Yes, geolocation must be activated in order to play.

This will allow you to start each stage of your journey and check that you're actually at the location you've requested, rather than in the comfort of your bed!
To activate geolocation, if you haven't already done so, go to your phone's settings.

How do I earn points (XP)?

For each tour, "quiz" XP and "time" XP are at stake, and their total is indicated on the product sheet.
At each stage, the Hunter can earn up to 10 XP if she/he doesn't make a mistake on the quiz or consult the clue. Otherwise, XP will be deducted.
The Hunter can also earn “time” XP based on his or her result on the tour timer. The number of points to be earned is 10 for courses of less than 9 stages and 20 for longer courses.

Can I pause a tour?

You can pause a tour by using the pause button at the top left of the route pages.

The tour will then appear in “My Trails” under the “In progress” tab, and you can resume it at any time at the stage at which you stopped.

Can I change the language of my tour?

Once you've started a tour, you can change the language at any time to another of the available ones.
To do so, click on the settings button in the top right-hand corner of your tour, then on the language of your choice.

How do I manage my account?

Our application and tours are currently available in English and French.
To change the language of your application, go to “Profile”, then “My settings”.
At the bottom of the page, you'll be able to change the language of the application, which is your phone's default language.

How do I manage the receipt of notifications and e-mails?

You can manage your subscription to newsletters and notifications by going to “Profile”, then “My settings”, and selecting “Notifications & emails settings”.
